Upon your arrival, and BEFORE EVERY mHBOT SESSION WITH US, we will ask you about the following:
1. Do you have a cold, flu symptoms, sinus or nasal congestion or chest congestion? 2. Is there a possibility you could be pregnant? 3. Have you had a change in medication? 4. Have you skipped a meal prior to mHBOT? 5. Are you diabetic and did not take your insulin prior to mHBOT? 6. Do you have any concerns or anxiety?
We will ask you to inform the staff during your session if: The pressure is too great for your ears. Often people experience difficulty adjusting to an increased atmospheric pressure. If your ears hurt, inform the staff immediately an dhe/she can stop or slow down the rate of pressurization until you are comfortable. Do Not Let It Get Painful.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled hyperbaric session. In consideration to all clients, we would like to start all sessions on time and late arrivals will result in decreased session time.
No entry into the chamber if you have been smoking within 3 days of HBOT or you have smoke / cannabis smell upon you.
Please go to the bathroom before getting into the chamber and abstain from drinking liquids at least 1 hour prior your session so you do not feel the urge to urinate during the session.
You do NOT need a prescription for High Altitude Sickness.
If you have a CONTRAINDICATION, please contact our office prior to making an HBOT appointment. Below is the physician referral form that will need to be printed out, completed and signed by your referring physician if you have a CONTRAINDICATION to using HBOT.

Contraindications for HBOT: * Known ear infection or upper respiratory infection * Acute asthma attack * High Fever * Uncontrolled seizure disorder * Optic Neuritis * Pneumothorax * Aneurism * Glaucoma * Pregnancy * Severe heart or lung disease * Congenital spherocytosis * Currently taking: Cisplatinum, Disulphiram, or Doxorubicin
